Tips – Putting your Photo on your CV

You don’t need to put your photo on your CV,  would actually say that you would be better leaving it off – if someone reviewing the CV does not like the way you look – the chances are they will ignore the application and just delete your details, I know this sounds odd but you will give yourself a better chance of getting interviews if you leave off your photo and give employers a chance to just read the CV and make a whole judgement based on your work history, skills, portfolio etc.. now you might think “well they will see what I look like at some point in an interview for example?” that’s true of course but then they will have the option to find out about you from you and opinion will be based on meeting you and finding out who you are and how well you fit the company and the position first hand.
