Job Purpose:
To be part of a successful Creative Services team, designing and delivering live corporate event environments to ensure the continued growth and profitability of the business.
You will be responsible for the concept development and production design of creative stage sets and other live environments. The role involves collaborating with writers, directors, technical producers and other designers to develop the entire visual aesthetic for a wide range of different corporate meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:
Generate creative stage set concepts and designs that support client communications for new and existing projects, including product launches, annual meetings, sales meetings, customer conferences, exhibition environments and more
Drive stage and environment design, ensuring an appropriate tone of delivery that captures and engages an audience’s imagination while amplifying communication objectives
Creative interpretation of client advertising campaigns or meeting themes into immersive environments
Collaborate with graphic designers, exhibition designers and content owners to create experiential activities and environments through the use of light, sound and technology to drive audience engagement
Ensure client needs and objectives are met by designing appropriate solutions, on time and to budget
Collaborate with directors and technical producers to generate high quality 3D CAD visuals that accurately illustrate impact and drama in the live event environment
Develop effectively structured visual pitch presentations and client proposals to communicate designs
Collaborate with technical producers and external suppliers to develop CAD layouts and production designs
Support other 3D designers with the design of creative exhibition stands
Effective prioritisation and time management, ensuring stakeholder expectations and deadlines are consistently met

Qualification/Skill Requirements:
A degree in theatre studies, creative or visual arts, exhibition, interior or architectural design. Equivalent set design experience working within a creative or event agency on 3D environments will be accepted
Concept development skills with ability to effectively communicate concepts clearly to stakeholders
The ability to translate creative ideas into practical and technically sound live event designs
The ability to develop 3D computer generated visuals using industry standard software such as 3D Studio Max or Cinema4D to a high degree of competency
A technical understanding of audio-visual elements such as light, sound and vision, and their use in stage, set or environment design
Experience of developing innovative attendee engagement activities would be a distinct advantage
Adept in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud
Well versed in creative systems and processes including best practice for the technical development of both event and exhibition environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling visual rationales that drive customer interest
Presentation development skills using PowerPoint and/or Keynote
A keen interest in the creative industries, with the ability to advise on current trends and technologies
