Position: Office Manager
We have a client in London who are looking for an office Manager to join them for a six month contract, could move into a full time role as well after the first six months.
You will be responsible for the daily operations of the office to include finance support, human resources support, and administrative support. This role can be challenging, but you¬†have what it takes. Dig in and make it happen!
Works closely with Managing Director with regards to operations and provides administrative support.
Possess a high level of accounting theory and a functional understanding of accounting transactions.
Responsible for the preparation, set-up, maintenance and processing of payroll.
Coordinates all new hire orientation and onboarding.
Creates and maintains all employee files.
Supports recruiting by posting positions and working with the hiring manager and recruiter(s) through the lifecycle of the process.
Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and work with people at all levels of the organization and outside business partners.
Embrace change. Must have the energy to shift gears quickly to meet sudden, high-priority requests from management and handle multiple tasks along with day-to-day activities.
Have an attitude of ownership and accountability.
Previous Accounting, Human Resources, and Payroll experience is a plus.
Advanced skills in Word, Excel and accounting/bookkeeping software.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, management, and organizational skills combined with excellent business judgment.
Strong initiative with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Fluency in English and French.¬
