You might be an in-house digital marketer or managing inbound campaigns for clients as part of an agency team. Youâ€™ll certainly be motivated by results, driven by data and able to work SEO, social, analytics and automation tools to meet demanding revenue goals

For many of their clients Inbound adoption represents a major shift in how they market and sell their business. The Inbound Consultant is there to counsel, coach and advise them on the best strategies to grow their businesses. their clients need to get the right advice from us and our Inbound specialist needs to be able to deliver it â€” straightforward, bold and direct. That’s what we get paid for.
Specifically, this position is responsible for giving our clients a truly remarkable marketing experience from start to finish. This might mean suggesting a deeper dive into analytics, offering an unsolicited recommendation, or talking clients through the â€śwhysâ€ť behind their marketing tactics in clear, easily understandable terms. The Marketing Consultantâ€™s job is to guide clients as their marketing “trainer” on the implementation of their complete marketing program.
The key to being successful in this position is juggling a variety of tasks, ensuring the marketing tactics deliver the expected results. Our clients pay us for our opinion; Strategists need to be confident and comfortable giving their expert perspectives, even if it makes clients uncomfortable occasionally. Our job then shifts into helping them work through the change so their company shines and their marketing drives long-term, sustainable growth.
The successful Inbound Marketing Strategist should be able to:
â€˘Â Manage multiple clients
â€˘Â Create the overall marketing strategy for your clients and manage the implementation of that marketing programme on a day-to-day basis
â€˘Â Craft the messaging strategy and remarkable offerings for each of your clients
â€˘Â Establish strong client relationships
â€˘Â Lead new client kick-off meetings in conjunction with our team
â€˘Â Work in conjunction with a Copywriter/Junior Inbound Consultant assigned to your clients to ensure all work is delivered on time and according to expectations
â€˘Â Work with clients to recommend the tactics for ongoing engagements
â€˘Â Work with prospective clients to recommend strategy and tactics for new engagements with our firm
â€˘Â Work with the creative team to ensure your clients’ messaging is delivered in consistently innovative and engaging ways
The ideal candidate should possess the following key traits and attributes:
â€˘Â At least 2 years of inbound marketing experience developing strategic marketing plans and tactical marketing programs in the B2B market – ideally experience with Technology, Manufacturing or Professional Services companies.
â€˘Â Proven track record in implementing marketing programs that have contributed to increased revenue, new customer acquisition and customer retention
â€˘Â Experience in an account management or client-facing role with an agency, consulting firm or internal agency
â€˘Â Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills are a must
â€˘Â Ability to work in cross-functional teams, meets deadlines and exceed expectations
â€˘Â HubSpot qualifications – the more certifications the better
â€˘Â Experience using Google Analytics and/or Adwords
